Wheels Facts Fuel Economy
How will our big wheel packages affect your trucks fuel economy? The short answer is you are likely to get better fuel economy on the highway at typical highway cruising speeds of 65 - 80 miles per hour. In stop and go traffic around town you will likely be using more fuel. The bigger tires will move the operating efficiency sweet spot of your gearing towards towards higher speeds compared to your stock 16-17" tire set up.
200,000 Mile Tires
How long do your dually tires last before you start to experience lower performance -35,000 miles, 25,000 miles? Our Big Rig 16 ply 22.5” tires can last up to 200,000 miles! You could spend $4,000 to $7,000 on tire replacements in 200,000 miles with your stock set up. Step up to the big-rig look and never buy another set of tires!
Towing Capacity
Our big wheel packages will not degrade your trucks towing capacity in any way. You can go with Big-Rig, Low Profile or 19.5" Direct Bolt On wheels and be 100% confident that your truck's towing capacity will still perform to factory specs.
Load Capacity
Our big wheel packages will not degrade your trucks load capacity in any way. Big-Rig and 19.5" Direct Bolt On wheels with stock or lifted suspension meet or exceed the load capacities of your truck.
Note: Slamming (lowering) your truck will negatively affect its load capacity. This is a function of the suspension not the wheels. |
